This website is about the book "The Liars' Club". It is a memoir written by the famous Mary Karr, which tells about her roller coaster of a life when she was east texas bound as a little girl. Her family was extremely dysfunctional, having several life-or-death scenarios when ideally she should be playing with posies. Mary and her older sister Lecia basically raised themselves. They're the ones that had to take care of their mother, Charlie Marie, most of the time, and even had to protect themselves from physical trauma due to her unpredictable assaults.
